Bandipur Sky wallpaper brings the quiet charm of the Indian countryside into your home. Inspired by travels through India and a deep appreciation for the beauty of ancient paintings found on crumbling palace walls, this quirky, playful wallpaper depicts a charming, storybook-style countryside scene, lovingly hand-painted in the Sidney Paul & Co studio.
Every panel of this hand-painted wallpaper is painted by hand, so gentle variations in tone and brushwork are part of its character rather than a flaw. Soft sky-blue backgrounds set off a scattering of countryside animals and rolling hills, giving the design a storybook quality that feels equally at home in a hallway, nursery, or feature wall.
At Sidney Paul & Co, every design begins as a hand-painted piece of art before it becomes wallpaper. Bandipur Sky started life as a study of old palace murals, reimagined with a lighter, more playful touch to suit contemporary homes. That process is part of what gives Bandipur Sky wallpaper its charm: the same warmth and imperfection you’d find in a piece of original artwork, translated onto your walls.
Why choose Bandipur Sky wallpaper for your home?
This design suits any room where you want a touch of warmth and narrative on the walls. The soft matt finish sits happily behind furniture and artwork, and the hand-painted style means each roll carries the same artisanal quality found in our other Sidney Paul & Co designs. Many customers pair Bandipur Sky wallpaper with simple, neutral furnishings to let the pattern take centre stage.
