Louis Mural in Forest: A Tapestry Landscape
Tapestries such as this once hung as grand, immersive backdrops in country houses, their scale and detail intended to transform a room into a landscape of its own. Attention to detail was essential in preserving that realistic, woven feel. In doing so, our design team worked closely with UK printers to capture the intricate stitching and depth of colour of the original, giving this panoramic scene a rich, textured, textile appearance. As a result, Louis brings a sense of contemporary luxury to any interior, its trees lending quiet drama and scale.
Notably, this Louis mural in Forest suits rooms where a sense of drama and immersion is wanted: a hallway, dining room or living space all take well to its large-scale, panoramic pattern. Its woven, tapestry-like texture pairs beautifully with dark wood, aged brass and rich textiles for a settled, storied atmosphere.
