Printemps Wallpaper in Vellum: Inspired by History
Printemps wallpaper in Vellum takes its intricate motifs from the faded plasterwork of a 17th-century Indian wall, translated into a delicate, repeating pattern with a genuine sense of history. The name itself, French for “spring”, suits its fresh, painterly botanical motifs, which blend old-world charm with contemporary style, equally at home in a period property or a newly built interior.
The Vellum Colourway
This colourway pairs a soft, chalky plaster-toned ground with warm, muted motif colours, lending the pattern a quiet, lived-in elegance. The neutral palette anchors a room without overwhelming it, letting the intricate repeat read as gentle texture and depth rather than bold pattern. It makes a versatile statement wall in a living room, hallway or bedroom, and works just as well in smaller spaces, from cloakrooms to reading nooks, where a softer pattern is preferred. Pair Vellum with warm timber, brass or linen accents to echo its natural, sun-faded tones.
