Verre Eglomise Gold wallpaper reimagines a centuries-old art form. Traditionally, artists gilded and painted glass from behind. Here, that craft becomes a dramatic, photo-realistic wall covering. In particular, it has an antique gold frame and gilded glass with a distressed finish. So, you get every detail of aged metal leaf, from soft tarnished highlights to fine, delicate cracks. As a result, the look is true hand-crafted verre églomisé.
Its soft metallic finish gives the wallpaper a luxurious, elegant quality. As a result, it makes a real statement. Also, this bold panel effect works on a large scale. Overall, it catches the light all day, for a warm, glamorous glow.
Where to Use Verre Eglomise Gold Wallpaper
This design suits many settings. For example, try it as a dramatic feature wall in the dining room or a glamorous hallway backdrop. Alternatively, add a surprising touch behind a bar or fireplace. Because it’s printed in such fine, photo-realistic detail, it reads less like a pattern. Instead, it looks like a true architectural finish. In fact, think of hand-gilded glass panelling, the kind you might find in a historic townhouse or grand hotel.
Styling Verre Eglomise Gold Wallpaper
For a moody, rich scheme, pair it with dark paint colours, warm brass or bronze hardware, and deep jewel-toned fabrics. Alternatively, for a lighter, more contemporary look, use it as contrast against crisp whites and soft neutrals.
Please request a sample for true colour match. Also, as with all metallic and gilded finishes, colour can vary subtly depending on lighting and screen calibration.
